One thing I know about business,Â particularly design,Â is that you can never market yourselfÂ enough, and in this economic climate it is important to keep an eye on your pipeline.
With this in mind I had a bit of a thinkÂ about what kind of product might help designers to, cost effectively, increase their chances of acquiring more business.Â I wondered whether a â€˜memorable productâ€™ could be designed that could be left with a customer after a meeting and would enable them to gain a better understanding of the services offered.Â What I came up with was a Mini Portfolio, that fits in your pocket and can be tailoredÂ to suit the specific requirements of the client.
It comprises a printed card sleeve, housing eight individually printed portfolio cards, fixed together with a silver binding screw.Â Iâ€™d be really interested to get peopleâ€™s feedback on the images below (both positive and negative).
